‘In 2018, three families new to church and Jesus joined us for the first time and something special happened: God radically impacted each generation and their renewed encounter with God sparked new levels of honesty, joy and hunger for God in all of us. The lasting impact from United sent ripples of renewed faith through the church family.’
Our vision is LOCAL CHURCHES CHANGING NATIONS and United is one of the ways we seek to fulfil this.
New Wine Founder Bishop David Pytches started United – back in 1989 before it was called United – to provide an opportunity for as many members of the local church family as possible to camp together in dedicated villages and spend quality time building relationship, having fun, worshipping God, encountering the Holy Spirit and gaining fresh vision and motivation to see Jesus' kingdom come back home! Thirty years later, our purpose remains the same.
If you’re a church leader, in training, or considering church leadership, our United LEADERSHIP LOUNGE is a place to meet with others in a relaxed environment and to find out and connect with your local Leadership Network. As well as a Leadership stream of seminars within the main programme, our Leadership Lounge hosts:
Leaders’ forums set around a particular theme to learn, ask questions, get to know and pray for each other
Prayer ministry appointments with a team of experienced leaders
Regional as well as international networking sessions
Mission consultations to explore missional communities, church planting, fresh expressions and other opportunities.
NEW FOR 2019: This year we will also be exploring how the Network in each region of England can better reflect the needs of the local church in connecting leaders through Learning Communities and Mentoring so that we walk with the Spirit in growing the Kingdom through renewal and planting.
We have lots of resources to help you share United with your church family, including our latest promotional video.
